    Beverly Scroggins

    Beverly Hatmaker Scroggins, 52, of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013, at her home after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.

    She was a lifelong resident of Bradley County.

    She was born in Knoxville, a daughter of Mac Hatmaker and Peggy Bowers.

    She was a member of Destiny Community Fellowship Church. Her compassionate spirit made her a friend to everyone she came in contact with.

    She leaves behind to cherish her memory in addition to her parents; two daughters: Stacy Haire and Megan Haire; husband, Darrell Scroggins: five precious grandchildren: Zachary Haire, Tyler Bonine, Carly Camp, Camdon Hair and Annabelle Grace Hancock; one sister, Cindy Elliott, two brothers: Bob Hatmaker and Nathan Hatmaker; one stepmothe,r Renate Hatmaker; two stepsons: Joshua Scroggins and Eric Scroggins; nephews: Nick Hatmaker and Chad Elliott and his wife, Julie; nieces: Kayla Elliott and Holly Hatmaker; and special friend of many years, Donna Elliott Miller. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.

    A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Destiny Community Fellowship Church, l2611 Blue Springs Road in Cleveland, with Bishop Joshua Luis Sarmiento officiating.

    Interment will follow in the Earls Cemetery with Oscar Cuellar, Greg Womac, Ronnie Carter, Kenneth Elliott, Arlie Green Jr., Rodger Smith, Josh Scroggins and Eric Scroggins serving as pallbearers.

    The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, from 4 to 8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
