   McCOY, THELMA - was born March 17, 1943, to the late Thelma Scroggins and Andrew Thomas, Sr. She went home to be with the Lord July 19, 2013. Thelma was born & raised in Natchez, MS and attended the local public schools there. After graduating from high school she moved to Atlantic City where she married the love of her life, Darryl McCoy, Sr. She worked as a nurse's aide for many years before becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was lastly employed at Mainland Manor Nursing Home where she worked for more than 30 years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by: her brother, Andrew Thomas, Jr. and her beloved daughter, Keisha McCoy. Left to cherish her memories are: her loving husband, Darryl "Buttons" McCoy, Sr.; daughters, Victoria and Danielle; and son, Darryl "Dooley" McCoy, Jr.; four granddaughters, five great-grandchildren; five sisters; one brother; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be 11AM, Monday July 29, 2013, Second Baptist Church, 110 Dr. I. S. Cole Plaza, Atlantic City, where friends may call from 9 AM.
