Roger Dwayne Wright , 44, entered into eternal rest on June 10, 1999.
He was born June 3, 1955, in St. Louis, Mo. He was the son of the late Clinton Wright and Helen Scott [54838:&] of Virginia Beach. He was also predeceased by his older sister, Sondra [31004:&].
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Carolyn Farmer of Peoria, Ill., Lisa Scroggins of Norfolk and Alicia Scott of Virginia Beach; a brother, Tony Scroggins of Virginia Beach; his grandmother, Noble Hagler of Virginia Beach; three daughters, Kyesha Griffin, Shawana Stokes and Kim Roddy, all of Peoria; a son, Tyjuan of New York; six grandchildren; a brother-in-law, A.C. of Peoria; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Colonial Grove Memorial Park in Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge.
