In the name of God, Amen. I Philemon Bird of Wilkes County and State of Georgia being mindful that it is Appointed for all men once to Die & being in a low State of health but Sound in mind and Memory and being ... to have peace and tranquility in my family after my decease Do make Constitute and Ordain this my last will and testament in Manner and form as follows, that is to say, just My will and desire is that all my just debts be paid (Secondly) I Send to my beloved wife Mary Bird all the balance of my Estate both Real and personall during her Natural life and after her death to be equally divided between my Children hereafter Mentioned as Dianna Evering, Lee Bird, Job Bird, Molly Ogletree, Robert Bird, Williamson Bird, James Bird, Caty Heard, Buford Bird, Elizabeth Jourdan, & George Bird.
