Jacob FALLIS was born before 1800 probably in Kentucky married Hannah KINGERY December 22, 1818 in Greene County, Ohio. Jacob Fallis' tombstone says he died August 10, 1824 age 17 years, 9 months and 28 days born October 13, 1806 buried in the Fallis Pioneer Cemetery in Greene County, Ohio 3 miles from Bellbrook. Most likely he is my Jacob FALLIS son of Mery VAUGHAN and Isaac FALLIS. This Jacob could also be a son of Jacob FALLIS Jr. brother of Isaac, although I believe Jacob's son Jacob moved to Peru, Miami County, Indiana. Merle Rummel, who researches Union County, Indiana Church of Brethren families says "The Cholera epidemic was 1831-1832... came up from Cincinnati, and according to one account 'every family lost some.'" Father Isaac was a tanner so it is assumed son Jacob could have had a fatal accident helping tan animal hides into leather or some other unfortunate accident. Hannah (KINGERY) FOLLIS married Ginnethon KELLY September 22, 1832 in Greene County, Ohio. An April 26, 2005 Brethren-List email: 1830 was in the early days of a horrible Cholera Epidemic in this whole area - one local comment says: "every family lost some". Hannah is buried near Catherine EIKENBERRY FALLIS, several of her FOLLIS grandchildren and near her sister Lucy KINGERY WHITENECK in the Mount Vernon Section of the relocated Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery.

(ingery) Follis born April 19, 1820 Greene County, Ohio married Elizabeth Manville January 27, 1844, died April 5, 1895 Bainbridge, Ross County Cemetery buried in Bainbridge Cemetery Bainbridge, Ross County, Ohio. Listed as Isaac Faller heir of Hannah Kingery in Merle Rummel's Virginia Four Mile.
- William Martin Follas born 1821 Greene County, Ohio married Mary E.(llen) Wright April 13, 1843 Union County, Indiana, second wife Nancy Ann Barrett March 30, 1849 Greene County, Ohio by Benjamin Bell Justice of the Peace. He died November 21, 1885 in Delphos, Van Wert County, Ohio and his family believes he is buried with Nancy in unmarked graves in Hartshorn Cemetery near Delphos, Van Wert County, Ohio. They changed the spelling of their surname to Follas after moving to Delphos, Ohio. His log cabin is still standing in northern Ohio now covered with alumimun siding.
- Thomas Jefferson FOLLIS born January 11, 1823 probably Greene County, Ohio, married Catherine EIKENBERRY on November 11, 1841 in Union County, Indiana, several of their children died and were buried in Union County, Indiana. Thomas died May 21, 1882 Somerset, Wabash County, Indiana. Thomas is likely buried near wife Catherine EIKENBERRY FALLIS, several of their children and near his mother Hannah KINGERY FOLLIS KELLEY, and Hannah's sister Lucy KINGERY WHITENECK in the Mount Vernon Section of the relocated Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery.
