Karla E. Shipp age 47 of Texarkana, Texas died Sunday, August 8, 2004 at a local hospital.
Karla was born December 10, 1956 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a life long resident of Texarkana.
She was a registered nurse and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and Pleasant Grove Christian Church. She was a graduate of Texas High School and Texarkana College.
She was survived by Kenneth and Estelle Shipp of Texarkana, Texas and a number of other relatives.
Visitation 5 to 7 p.m. August 9, 2005 at Texarkana Funeral Home.
Graveside services were Wednesday August 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Northwood Cemetery with Bro. Richard Posey and Dr. John Webb.
The family will be at the family residence. Those wishing to memorize Karla made donations to the National Mutiple Sclerosis Foundation, 700 Broadway, Denver, Colorado 80203.
