IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN- I Denis Lindsey of Granville County Providence of North Carolina. Being through mercy and goodness and the weak in Body yet of perfect memory I constitute this my Last Will and Testament my it be received by all a Imprience I most humbly bequeath my soul To God My name preaching his most gracious acceptance of it the of it there, sufficient merit's and mediation of my worst Compliance
Reverend Jesus Christ to prepare me for the time of dissolution and then take me to his self into Peace and Rest which he has Prepared for all who Love him and fear his Holy Name .amen.
Imprimis,I give-and Bequeath unto my son William Lindsey my bridle and saddle and wearing clothes rifle gun, and nine year old hogs an ten shots.
Item I give and bequeath to my son Benjamin Lindsey, tow hundred acres of land or more it being left it being my Plantation, I give two cows and pigs----

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Lindsey one acre of and, furniture, and one iron pot. And the
Divide equally between my daughters Winney----
Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Two Rams, and one you raised by you and five barrels
Of Indian corn.
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Catera five sheets.
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Margit all my tools of my plantation.
Item I give and bequeath ---------Phillips a young cow, and calf and remainder of my cattle to be between daughter Mary and her estate tell the arrive at age nineteen years or sixteen years of marriage.

Desire that Ephriam Clanton should have some---------- unable to read
William Lindsey to have charge of Benjamin Lindsey and his Estate till he reaches the age of eighteen years
Of age. And I desire my daughter Winney to be free and users of her estate at the age., so I will have all my son-in -laws be executors over all, Ephriam Clanton, Roger Thornton and instructed as to my godly desires to be interred to these, as I bequeathed
