• bapt 5 June 1808 (St Thomas, Dudley) Elizabeth dau of Benjn. and Elizth. Shakespear (there is one other possible baptism at Dudley: 30 Aug 1789 dau of Mark and Sarah, but this is for 'Betty' Shakespeare - another Betty born 1797 and an Elizabeth born 1789 [to different parents] both died as infants. However, there are several baptisms within the right period at both Brierley Hill and Kingswinford)

Another son of Samuel & Mary, also named, Samuel was possibly living in Yorkshire in 1881.
