About the archive

The City of Port Phillip's Records Management department has retained a large number of original items of correspondence dating from the 1850s to the present covering the former cities of St Kilda, Port Melbourne and South Melbourne. Records held within the archive are varied and include minute books, rate records, voters rolls and general correspondence.
