Summary of the Will of

George Shakespear,of Fillongley,Died 1700

This will was very difficult to read and understand , consequently this summary may be inaccurate.

George hoped that he would be redeem of his sins and have everlasting life in heavon among the glorious sains and angels.

The will is dated January 23rd in the 11th year of thereign of William 3rd (1699).

1. Second son Thomas to receive £130 when he reached 21 years of age.

2. Thomas A. Smith to receive £100

3. Eldest son George to receive £100

4. Daughter Elizabeth to receive £180? When she reached 21 years of age.

5. His wife Mary to have £50 to pay his debts , his goods and chattels etc to bring up his children.

Some of the above money is to come from his late purchased lands in Fillongley.

6. His real estate to go to his son Thomas?

7. His wife Mary to be executor.

8. Georges mark witnessed by Philip Orton, John Cooper, Richard Bull ?
