In The Name of God Amen the one and twentieth day of Februarie Anno Dmy 1653 I Thomas Shakespeare of Lappworth in the Countie of Warwick Fuller being in good and perfect memorie blessed be God doe make and ordayne this this my last ill and testt. in the manner and forme following: First I commend my soule into the hands of Almighty God who gave it - - - through - alone - and - of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer to oblige the pardon and forgiveness of all my sinnes and to - and partake of life everlasting. Item my bodie I commit to the earth in heretof it was made desiring it should be decently buried in the pish. Churchyard of Rowington at the discretion of my Executors and - hereafter named. Item I give and bequeath unto my kinsman Richard Shakespeare living in Bentworth my - - paire of - and - of - and all such implements in my shop with the said items and belongings. Item I give unto him Five pounds in monie the said Trustees should handle and offer implements to be delivered immediately after my decease and the said Five pounds in monie to be paid by my executors within Three monthes next ensuing following death. Item I give and bequeath my kinsman Thomas Shakespeare my Godson Living in Rowington Five pounds in monie to be paid him within -  monthes as aforesd. item I give and bequeath to my kinsman Thomas Shakespeare of Lappworth Five pounds in monie to be paid him within three monthes after my decease. Item I give and bequeath to my kinsman Richard Shakespeare in money Six pounds, Thirtiye shillings Fower Pence to be paid him three monthes as aforesaid. Item I give and bequeath to my kinswoman Mary Shakespeare Five pounds to be paid her within three monthes after my decease. Item I give to my Kinsman John Shakespeare Five pounds to be paid him within within three monthes after my decease. Item I give and bequeath to my brother Williams sonnes daughter Elizabeth Six pounds if it be desired. Item I give and bequeath to the poore of the parish of Rowington Fortie shillings to be distributed amongst them in bread at the discretion of my executors upon the day of my buriall. All the rest of my goods, chattels - - and - - - - paid and Tenne pounds which Follow to be bestowed on my severall I give and bequeath my Executrix aforresaid my last Will and Testament And - and - Thomas Sly my kinsman of Lappworth and Thomas Shakespeare my kinsman of Whittygate in the parish of Rowington my Overseers. And I give to Thomas Sly for his paines in this behalfe tenne shillings to be payd him within three monthes after my decease. And I give to Thomas Shakespeare for his paines in this behalfe tenne shillings to be payd him within three monthes after my decease. In witness whereof I have hereun to set my hand and seal. This will was Proved at London The Thirteenth daie of May on thousand Six hundred and sixtie eight Before the - for Probate of Wills and granting Administrations lawfully authorised. By the oath of Elizabeth Shakesepare the kinswoman and sole Executrix named in the said will. To whom was granted Administration of all singularly the goods chattels and Debts of the said deceased. - by - first - - to Administer.
