Services for Edna Marie Fagan, 78, of Anderson, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.

The Rev. Burt Smith of the Little Country Church will officiate.  Burial will be in Lawncrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Fagan died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in Redding.

Born Dec. 9, 1903, in Missouri, she moved to Shasta County in 1968 from Tulare.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by son Clifford of Anderson; and brothers Quentin Moody of Exeter and Dave Moody of Pismo Beach.

Mrs. Nancy Sue Harris, 29, died at her home north of Redding yesterday after an extended illness.

A native of Ashland, Ore., Mrs. Harris was born Jan. 31, 1912.

She had lived here for several years with her husband, Roy Harris, a local bureau of reclamation employee.

Mrs. Harris leaves her husband and a brother, Paul Green, of West Virginia.

The body will be shipped to Chickasha, Okla., for interment.  The Home Undertaking company is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Leland S. Bonham, 66, of Oak Run, died yesterday on his birthday in Mercy hospital.

Born in Artesia, Bonham lived in Buena Park prior to coming to the Oak Run area three years ago.  He was employed by Shasta county in general maintenance work.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mamie Bonham of Oak Run; a duaghter, Mrs. Frances Hindrix of Ukiah; a son, Leland S. Bonham, Jr., of Oak Run; four sisters, Mrs. Mae Burgess and Mrs. W. C. Jones, both of Los Angeles, Mrs. Edith Neillsen of Anaheim and Mrs. Hilda Wells of Dinuba; and six grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending at the Meininger mortuary.

Emory Marion Null, 75, pioneer school teacher of Shasta and Modoc counties, died at his home in Red Bluff yesterday.

He was born on April 14, 1866 near Inwood.  He married Lulu E. Armstrong in 1891.  Two children, Dean Null and Mrs. Ruby Blodgett, were born to the couple.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at McDonald's Chapel with the Rev. H. A. Luckenbach officiating.  Interment will be in Redding cemetery.

He leaves his son and daughter, three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Rupert of Inwood, Mrs. Mabel Bucher of Lookout and Mrs. Lizzie Robbins of San Francisco; a brother, Dr. J. G. Null of Anderson, and three grandchildren.

Graveside services for Estella B. Norris, 88, of Project City will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Redding Cemetery.

Mrs. Norris died Monday at Shasta General Hospital in Redding.

Born Jan. 20, 1896, in Texas, she was a registered nurse and a member of the Church of Christ in Project City.

She is survived by stepdaughter Mary Lou Chapman of Texas; three stepsons, William, Neil and Ray, all of Texas; and two sisters, Ila Marie Culpepper of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Juanita Evans of Texarkana, Texas.

McDonald's Redding Chapel is handling arrangements.

Private services for Tony Ray Martinez Jr., 33, of Corning will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.

Burial will be at a private family cemetery in Shasta County.

Mr. Martinez was killed Sunday in Redding when he was run over by a train.

Born May 24, 1951, in Redding, he lived in Anderson and Corning all his life.  He was a laborer.

He is survived by father Tony Sr. of Redding; brother Marcus of Seattle, Wash.; and two sisters, Paula of Redding and Sonja of Corning.

Services for Carl Matthew Stinson, 76, of Central Valley will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.

Laing Sibbet will officiate.  Cremation will follow.

Mr. Stinson died Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Redding.

He was born Aug. 13, 1907, in Owosso, Mich., and moved to Central Valley in 1974 from Lansing, Mich., where he had been a high school teacher and athletic coach.  He was a member of Redding Moose Lodge 1006 and Redding Elks Lodge 1073, and a lifetime member of the Lansing Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Stinson is survived by wife Peg; daughter Colleen Southgate of Central Valley; brother Raymond Stinson of Torch Lake, Mich.; and sister Mary Hoelle of Normal, Ill.

Durward Belmont Stutsman, 71, of Redding died Thursday in Redding Medical Center.  There are no services planned.

Cremation will be at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel.

Born Feb. 19, 1915, in Pittsburg, Kan., he moved to Shasta County in 1944 from Stockton.

He was a contractor for 55 years as owner of D. B. Stutsman Inc.

Mr. Stutsman also was a member of the Operating Engineers, Local 13 in Redding.

He is survived by his wife Joy; daughter Sharyl Wilson of Redding; sons Steve of Craig, Colo. and Noel of Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Lorena Lucille Combs, 79, of Shasta died Sunday at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.

No services will be conducted.  The body will be cremated and inurnment will be at Angeles Abbey Memorial Park in Compton.

Mrs. Combs was born Jan. 23, 1902 in Wallace, Idaho.  She was a telephone operator for 48 years before retiring.

She is survived by son Jack Moore of Shasta; sister Oral Coulter of Merced; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

McDonald's Redding Chapel is handling arrangements.

Otto D. Van Norman  1876 - 1981

Services for Otto D. Van Norman, 105, of Alturas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kerry Mortuary.

Burial will be in the Likely Cemetery.

Mr. Van Norman died Saturday at Modoc Medical Center.

He was born July 4, 1876 in Millville and spent his life as a buckaroo in various areas in the United States.  He was foreman for 10 years for the Gerlach Cattle Co. in Gerlach, Nev. and was head horse wrangler for the Miller & Lux cattle company.  He also worked at the Baer Ranch in Fort Bidwell.

In 1910, he was a member of the Eagleville Boys, the last Indian posse in the West.

He is survived by his half brother Charles Wilgus of Redding; sons Phillip of Yerington, Nev., and Vernon "Peachie" of Montague; daughter Valera Dieter of Janesville; 12 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
