My connection with this town is through my 2x gt g'parents John Baxter & Alice SHILCOCK (née THORNTON) who married at Boston St Botolph church on 25 Aug 1872. Additionally, the earliest found marriage in my whole tree took place here in 1657, between William RUSHLAND and Dinah TUNNARD. My 4x gt aunt Martha PALMER(née SWIFT) was buried here in 1903.
