Benjamin JARROD was born in 1791 son of Robert and Anne GARROD. He married twice. After his first wife Sarah died, he married Sarah GAGE(née PEDDER) on 28th Dec.1840 at West Dereham. He died in 1859 and was buried on 20th April at West Dereham. |
Benjamin married Sarah CARMAN at Hilgay church on 21 Oct 1811 (ref P.Rs.) As yet, I know nothing more about Sarah's ancestry. She was buried in West Dereham on 5th July 1834 aged 44. |
| Sarah | bp. 21 Jan 1821, Hilgay. Married Wm GALLEY at West Dereham on 4 Nov 1843. In 1851 they were in Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen with 3 daughters; Alice Mary & Sarah Ann. By 1871 (and 1881), they were in Wimbotsham. Further children were Eliza, William, George and Henry.
Daughter Mary married William GOODRUM, and settled in Wimbotsham. Daughter Sarah married Thomas PARNELL in 1870, and also settled in Wimbotsham then Tilney. |
