Hugh WOOD's occupation was carman. He was deceased by the time his daughter Sarah married in 1837. I have yet to find his marriage to Ann c1804. Mum's family tree says that Hugh was Irish, so they possibly married in Ireland.

Ann ---- She was living with her son Hugh in Bermondsey in 1841. She was 60.

Hugh	bp. 1808, St Mary,Rotherhithe. A carman, like his father. Married Mary ----. In 1841 and 1851 was living in Bermondsey. Not yet found after this.
Sarah	bp. 1810, St Mary,Rotherhithe. Married George MEACHER on 1st Oct 1837 at St. Mary's, Newington. Children George, Sarah, James, Hannah, Thomas & John.
Martha	bp. 1812, St Mary,Rotherhithe
George Wellington	bp 1814, St Mary Magdalene,Bermondsey. Married Frances LUCAS on 30 July 1838 in Shoreditch. My 3x gt g'parents.
Matthew	bp. 1817, St Mary Magdalene,Bermondsey. In 1851 he was a cab proprietor living in St John, Horsleydown with wife Mary and a servant.
