My connection with this village is through my 3x gt g'parents Francis & Maria CHAPMAN who were married here on 27 Nov 1825. Subsequent generations of CHAPMANs lived here right up until the death of my gt aunt Daisy LAKE (née CHAPMAN) in 1989. In addition, my parents Dennis BRUCE and Joan WEEDEN married here in 1946. My sister Christine is buried here, as are my gt g'parents Robert & Eliza CHAPMAN. |
