He was renting land from Thomas Heron in 1761. He is mentioned in the marriage settlement of John Fryer and Mary Barrow as Francis Bramble. The marriage was by licence He was the twin brother of Henry. Died of distemper and apoplexy. This is the Elston connection of the family.

I have another note that he died at Wymeswold, not Elston.

Her first husband was John Barrow. Her maiden name was Crosby and she was the sister of Anne. She was 41 when she married, hence only the one child.

He was made executor and trustee for each of his underage siblings. He was the son of Ann's father's half-brother, William. Chris B says b and d Elston and Yeoman from will.

In 1864 Joseph Bramley was still a blacksmith in Syerston. Witnesses at the wedding were James Bramley and Tryphana Bramley. Hannah Clark is probably the sister of his brother, James' wife, Francis.

On the 1851 census, Joseph is a widower and his housekeeper was Hannah Clark of Shelton. His brother, James, married a Frances Clark of Shelton, so Hannah may be her sister. In the 1841 census she is aged 35, born in couty.
