Dedicated to my Mother Mary 'Mae' (Garvey) Hurley

A light that was extinguished too early in her life and in mine.
A mother still missed by all her children.

 Mary Catherine Mae Garvey

and Aunt Bertille Hurley, who through many years of research has assembled and documented not only the Hurley lineage, but also the related surnames Garvey, Galvin and O'Brien, Collins and others. Her living legacy is a large collection of correspondence, articles, Book references, Photographs and information gained from hours in front of a microfilm reader, attempting to decipher century old writing and track down each thread to assemble the Hurley Family Tapestry.
