• He was a partner in 1834 with ? Lynch in Hillsborough NC as HUNTINGTON & LYNCH. ²⁵

• William J. Hogan, who has done extensive research on the Huntingtons, suggests that John Huntington may also have practiced dentistry at some time inasmuch as tools such as those used by dentists of his day were found among the silversmith's possessions. ²⁵
