Karuk Tribe exercise their fishing rights in the Klamath River at Ishi

of ancestors in this Feature article published by the Sacramento
Bee nearly 50 years ago. Knudsen of Somes Bar used the dip net to
catch this nice salmon shown by Mrs. Willie Law of Yreka.
