The Russell gravesite (it isn't a cemetery) consists of three graves that are located within the boundaries of the Higley Flow State Park.

From State Highway 56 in South Colton, you turn onto Cold Brook Drive which is just south of the bridge in South Colton. Continue on that road until you come to the state park signs, (two miles east) and turn into the park. There are two gravestones that are flat on the ground that are located across the road from the boat launch area, and slightly diagonal to that entrance, and then the other stone is on the other side of the knoll that these two stones are on, and located among the campsites, with four cement posts marking this grave.

At times during the off season, there may be a gate that prevents access to the park. During the camping season, there is a toll booth that you must pass by--I'm not sure if there is a charge just to visit these graves. (The phone number for the park is 315 262-2880). Park personnel will direct you to the location of these graves.

The coordinates for the first two graves are 44 30 26 North and 074 54 48 West, and for the other grave, 44 30 26 North and 074 54 51 West.
