Castle Cemetery (also known as Catherineville Cemetery) is approximately 2 1/2 miles from the hamlet of Parishville. Turn onto Catherine Street from the main street in Parishville (Route 72), and go approximately one mile to Catherinesville Road (a road to the left). Turn onto Catherinesville road and the cemetery is approximately 1 1/2 miles from this intersection, and is on the right and adjacent to the road. The cemetery is shown on the 7.5 minute Parishville topographical map but is unnamed. The measured coordinates are 44 37 45 North and 074 46 00 West.

This cemetery is in an isolated area, that once was known as Catherineville, and that at one time was in the town of Parishville, but now is located in the town of Hopkinton. This information and two names in the stone census marked in red, is information that was taken from a booklet, "Sketches of Parishville 1809-1976)". This booklet contains a considerable amount of information on early Parishville, (and also Catherineville) and can still be purchased by getting in contact with Emma Remington, Town of Parishville historian, P.O. There appear to be around 100 burials at this cemetery, with the earliest that I recorded being 1822 and the latest 1981.
