The Hopkinton-Fort Jackson Cemetery is located between the hamlets of Hopkinton and Fort Jackson, on county road 49. On State Highway 11B, which passes through Hopkinton, turn onto county road 49, and it is 8/10ths of a mile from this intersection, a large cemetery on the right. From State Highway 11, turning onto county road 49 towards Fort Jackson, it is 6.7 miles from State Highway 11.

As to which name should come first, the sign at the cemetery lists it as Hopkinton-Fort Jackson Cemetery, but in the book Claims to Name: Toponyms of St. Lawrence County by Harder and Smallman, the only reference to this cemetery is the Fort Jackson Cemetery. (Legal ads seem to list it as Hopkinton-Fort Jackson Cemetery).

One Revolutionary War veteran is listed as being buried at this cemetery, Solomon Chittenden, and he is listed in the name index.
