Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his parents; his two older brothers, Michael and Rob Fahey; grandparents Lucille Fahey and Anthony DeFrancisco of Bethlehem. Matthew was preceded in death by his grandfather, Francis Fahey, and his grandmother, Antoinette DeFrancisco. He was also preceded in death by his girlfriend Cynthia Santana.
Services: will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2005 in Messiah Lutheran Church, 2020 Worthington Ave., Bethlehem. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2005 in the Connell Funeral Home Inc., 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Anna A. Betty Sterner, 85, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009, in St. Lukes Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late Orange P. Sterner, who died in 2002. Born in Hellertown, she was the daughter of the late Howard W. and Anna A. (Schaeffer) Reiss. At the age of 14, Anna was instrumental, along with her sister Ruth, in raising her brothers and sisters after their mother died. She enjoyed bingo and baking and was known for her homemade bread, apple dumplings and apple pie. Joy filled her heart when she held a baby.
Survivors: Son, Barry L. Sterner and his wife, Nadine, and daughter, Jean B. Luff and her husband, Ronald, all of Bethlehem; sisters, Ruth Schultz of Quakertown, Marion Breisch and her husband, Harlan, of Hellertown, Agnes Ortwein and her husband, Frank, of Lady Lake, Fla., Helen Dougherty and her husband, William, of Bethlehem, and Doris Johnson and her husband, John, of Wassergass; brothers, Howard Reiss of Mena, Alaska, John Reiss of Whitehall Township and Alton Reiss of Sellersville; three granddaughters, Jennifer Luff, Heather Rodburg, her husband, Brian and their son, Noah, and Kimberly Phillips and her husband, Matthew and their son, Jackson. Anna was preceded in death by her brothers Roy, Kenneth, Robert and Charles.

Orange P. Sterner, 76, of Bethlehem, died June 21 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was married to Anna A. (Reiss) Sterner for 55 years in April.
He was an assistant car foreman and a repair and car inspector for PB&NE Railroad, Bethlehem, for 33 years before retiring in 1985.
Born in Rittersville, he was a son of the late Orange and Hannah (Oakes) Sterner.
Survivors: Wife; son, Barry L., and daughter, Jean B. Kenneth H. Reiss, 69, of Bethlehem died Friday, Nov. 15, in Muhlenberg Hospital Center. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Frederick) Reiss. They were married 39 years in August.
He worked in maintenance for the Philadelphia, Bethlehem and New England Railroad of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 32 years until retiring in 1987.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Howard and Annie (Schaffer) Reiss.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He bowled in the Pieces of Eight and Merchants Leagues at the AFL-CIO and Town and Country bowling lanes, Bethlehem.
Survivors: Daughter, Cheryl A. Alton L. Reiss, 72, of West Rockhill Twp., passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 in Grandview Hospital, Sellersville. He was the husband of Dolores R. Susie (Ritter) Reiss. They celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary in August 2009. Born in Lower Saucon Twp., he was a son of the late Howard W. and Anna (Schaffer) Reiss. Al retired as a final inspector for Mack Trucks in 1995 after 30 years of service. He was a Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force and was proud to serve his country for 21 1/2 years. Mr. Reiss was a member of Solomons U.C.C., Bedminster. He was also a member of Saucon Lodge #469 F. & A.M. and UAW Local #677. Al enjoyed spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, traveling and attending his children and grandchildrens sporting events.

He enjoyed Bowling, antique cars, and NASCAR. He was a 16 year heart transplantee survivor thanks to Hershey Medical Center. How lucky I am to have found someone and something that saying goodbye to is so damn awful.
