Franklin C, SLOYER, 82, of 2210 Kemmerer St., Bethlehem, died Wednesday in St. luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Laura V. (KUNSMAN) SLOYER.

He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 43 years before retiring in 1970 as a steel provider in the open hearth and electric furnace.

Born in Springtown, he was a son of the late William and Annie (FLUCK) SLOYER.
Surviving with his widow is a son, Timothy, at home. He was predeceased by a daughter Janice.

Services will at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem.

A calling hour will precede the services.

She worked for Fairmont Dress Shop, Bethlehem, and for the former Orr's department store, Bethlehem. Previously, she worked in the insurance and real estate department for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 15 years.
Born in Redington, she was a daughter of the late Clarence J. and Matilda C. (Donecker) Kunsman.
She was a graduate of Churchmen's Business College.
She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Bethlehem.
Survivor: Son, Timothy F. of Bethlehem. She was predeceased by a daughter, Janice.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. Call 10-11 a.m. Monday.

She was a seamstress at Willshire Manufacturing Co. and Pennbrook Manufacturing, both in Easton, for many years before retiring in 1978.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Mary (Freeh) Sloyer.
She was a past president of the PTA of the Centennial Elementary School, Easton.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Easton.
Survivors: Daughter, Margaret, wife of George Liedy of Englishtown, N.J.; sister, Marion Hockman of Saylorsburg; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Sloyer. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Easton.
Surviving are three sons, Richard W. of Forks Township, David A. of Lower Saucon Township and William H. Jr., an Easton city councilman; two sisters, Anna Mae Hockman of Nazareth and Marion Hockman of Saylorsburg, and six grandchildren.

William H. Keifer Sr., 71, of 1334 Spruce St., Easton, died Wednesday at his home. He was the husband of Emma V. (Sloyer) Keifer.

He was a production scheduler at Victaulic Co. of America, West Easton, for 41 years until retiring in 1979.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Easton.

Surviving with his widow are three sons, Richard W. of Forks Township, David A. of Hellertown and William H. Jr. of Easton; two brothers, Kenneth of Wilson and Robert of Palmer Township; two sisters, Mrs. Mickey Everett of Easton and Mrs. Esther DeMinna of Akron, Ohio, and six grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Plainfield Twp., and a member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church, Wind Gap. Prior to that, she was a member of the Non Sectarian Church, Morris Park, NJ. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was the wife of the late Clyde C. Hockman, who died October 4, 1990. Survivors: She is survived by a son, Thomas C. Hockman and his wife Dawn of Saylorsburg; a granddaughter, Tamara Hockman Doria; four great-grandchildren, Angelica Doria, Julia Doria, Heather Markovitz and Jesse Markovitz. In addition to her husband, a grandson, Thomas C. Hockman, Jr., two sisters, Anna Mae Hockman, Emma Keifer, and her long time companion, Foster Dietz, all died earlier. Clyde C. Hockman, 75, of Saylorsburg R.1, formerly of Lopatcong Township, N.J., died Thursday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Marion A. (Sloyer) Hockman.
He was the former owner of Hockman's Meat Market, Phillipsburg, for 13 years. Before that, he was employed by R&R Provisions Co., Easton, retiring in 1976.
Born in Coffeetown, he was a son of the late Simeon and Margaret (Dugan) Hockman.
He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wind Gap.
Hockman was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.
Survivors: Wife; son, Thomas C. Sr. of Saylorsburg; sisters, Esther Roseberry of Easton, Marion Bloss of Bethlehem Township, and Alma Bercaw of Lopatcong Township, and a granddaughter.
