He was a truck driver for D. Theodoredis and Sons, Bethlehem, until retiring in 1989. He was previously employed by Suncrest Dairy for many years.

Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late Oliver and Mildred (Pearson) Christine.

Survivors: Half sister, Carolyn White of North Wales, Montgomery County.

Robert G. Beidelman died last nite at 9:20 at his house, 16 Spring Street West Bethlehem from injuries received on Tuesday while employed with a signal corp on the Lehigh Valley Railroad as stated in yesterdays Globe. The accident which led to his death happened 14 miles below Easton. The signal corp was on a hand car when they caught sight of a fast freight train following on what they believed was the same track. The car was rounding a curve. Every man had jumped from the car. Beidelman jumped off at the same time the hand car shot off the tracks. He fell on his back, the hand car passing over his abdomen. He lingered until last nite, when death ensued with his wife and her parents and his brother at his bedside. Robert G. Beidelman was born in West Bethlehem on May 3, 1881. He was the son of James A. Beidelman & Ida C. born Christine now of Passaic, NJ He was educated in the West Bethlehem public schools and was a member of the Moravian Church in Bethlehem. He learned the moulder’s trade at the Bethlehem Foundry & Machine Company’s plant where he worked up to last May when he moved to Passaic, NJ. The work at the moulding being slack at Passaic Mr. Beidelman secured work on the Lehigh Valley signal corp 2 days before the accident occurred. The deceased was 23 yrs. & 1 day old the fatal accident having occurred on his birthday. Mr. Beidelman was married on Aug. 8, 1901 to Miss Annie S. Schweitzer daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Edwin Schweitzer of Hecktown the ceremony being performed by Rev. I. W. Bieber. Two weeks ago the couple moved from Passaic to 16 Spring St. West Bethlehem. Mr. Beidelman was a member of Lehigh Council Royal Arcanum and Capt. O. A. Luckensbach Camp Sons of Veterans of Bethlehem. He is survived by his stricken young widow, one child Herbert James Beidelman 2 yrs old, his parents, two brothers Herbert S. Beidelman of S. Bethlehem and Edgar R. Beidelman and one sister Miss Helen Beidelman of Passaic, N. J. The funeral will take place on Saturday at 2 P. M. From his late residence. Service will be held in the Moravian Church, Bethlehem, at 2:30. Interment will be made in Nisky Hill Cemetery. ******

Herbert S. Beidelman
Ill for some time with a heart ailment, Herbert S. Beidelman, 57, of 630 Hanover Street, died at his home at 3:55 a. m. Sunday. He was born in Bethlehem, October 24, 1883, a son of the late James and Ida Christine Beidelman, and was employed in the piece rate department of the Bethlehem Steel Co.
Mr. Beidelman was a member of the Healing Christ Mission. Survivors are his wife, four sons, Le Roy, Catasauqua; Stanley, New York; Robert, Bethlehem; Ellis, Allentown; a brother Dr. E. R. Beidelman, Bethlehem; a sister Mrs. Grant Cole, Bethlehem and six grandchildren. The Rev. George Marsh will officiate at funeral services at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday in the Steyers home 70 East Broad Street, Bethlehem. Interment in Springfield Brethren Cemetery.

William C. Waud, 91, of Country Meadows, Bethlehem, died Friday in Muhlenberg Hospital Center. He was the husband of the late Tillie (Christine) Waud.

He was a supervisor in the general service department of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 16 years, retiring in 1966. Before that, he owned and operated the former Waud's Ice Co., in the Ice House, Sand Island, Bethlehem, from 1928 to 1950.

Born in Ottawa, Kan., he was a son of the late Alfred and Rhoda (Nash) Waud. He was a member of St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, where he was a former deacon, Sunday School teacher and choir member. He was also past president of the church's chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons.

He was past president of the Men of Retirement Age at the Bethlehem YMCA and the Men of Muhlenberg. In 1974, he was the recipient of the Bethlehem Sertoma Club's Service to Mankind Award, and in 1981, received an honorary award for his service to Boy Scout Troop No. 314, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Daughters, Mrs. Andrea C. Grubb of Bethlehem, Gail, wife of John Weber of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, and Carol D. Uslin of Allentown; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mabel A. Seifert, 92, of Ashland R.1, Schuylkill County, formerly of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, at home. She was the wife of the late Albert C. Seifert.
Born in Bucks County, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Mary (Mack) Weierbach.
She was a member and Sunday school teacher of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, and taught Week Day Church School for many years.
She was a life member of Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 258, New York.
Survivors: Daughters, Margaret, wife of George Seiler of Ashland R.1; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Joy Laura.
Memorial services: 1 p.m. Friday in the church. No calling hours. Arrangements, Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland.

He worked in the mill of Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 40 years before retiring in 1969.
Born in Springtown, he was a son of the late Preston and Laura (Gardner) Seifert.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Dover, N.J.
He was a member of the Randolph Senior Citizens Club and the Morris County Adult Day Care Center, Morris Plains, N.J.
