Charles N. Kressler, 56, of 1138 Maple St., Allentown, died Saturday in Sacred Heart Hospital after being stricken at his home Friday night. He was the husband of Pauline E. (Peters) Kressler. They observed their 21st wedding anniversary last July.
Kressler was a roofer for the Whitaker Aluminum Construction Co., Allentown, for the past seven years. Before that, he was a plant operator for the General Crushed Stone Co., Quakertown, for 17 years.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Charles and Helen (Gerstenburger ) Kressler.
Surviving with his widow are two sons, Charles N. Jr. of Whittier, Calif., and Neil W. Frantz, at home; a daughter, Elaine R., wife of Richard Rohrer of Edgewood, Md.; two brothers, Carl of Allentown and George, address unknown; three sisters, Marie, wife of Richard Moser of Bethlehem, Sarah, wife of Larry Rossi of Seaside Heights, N.J., and Florence, wife of Raymond Schaller of Shelly, Bucks County; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Richard A. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 54 Summit Road, Schnecksville. Calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Monday.

He retired from the Saucon Valley Country Club, and loved working in his garden. He was active in the V.F.W. in Coopersburg, and formerly attended Faith United Church of Christ in Center Valley.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 59 years Gloria; daughter, Wanda of Folsom, Calif., and brothers Wilbert, Francis, and Millard who still reside in Pennsylvania. Norbert also took great pleasure in his grandson, Darius and family, including his great-grandchildren Eamon and Matilda.

Dorothy S. Arnold, 87, of Upper Saucon Twp. died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Salisbury Twp. She is the wife of the late Harold E. Arnold, died March 2, 2007.
Born in Hanover Twp. on July 5, 1925 to the late James S. and Bertha (Gerlach) Werner. Dorothy worked 32 yrs. for ILGWU at various factories until retiring in 1985. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Center Valley, Upper Saucon Senior Citizens, and VFW Ladies Aux. 3405, Coopersburg.
Survivors: Loving daughter: Romaine D. and her husband Harold R. Zeiner of Coopersburg; grandsons: Jason T. and his wife Lynn and Travis W. Zeiner; great grandsons: Ethan M., Andrew R. and Dyllan M. Zeiner. Predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
Services: Family and friends are invited to call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, January 21st, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown.

Francis R. Arnold, Sr., 81, of Whitehall Twp. died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He is the husband of Patricia A. (Knise) Arnold. Born in Bethlehem on September 8, 1928 to the late Robert J. and Caroline (Miller) Arnold. Francis worked in the Maintenance Department of Lutron Electronics, Center Valley for many yearsand part-time during the same period at Friendlys, Allentown in the same capacity Hepreviously worked for the former Fairtex, Allentown. He served his country honorably during the Korean War in the US Army and was a life member of the Limeport, Se-Wy-Co, and Upper Saucon Vol. Fire Companies.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 58 years; sons: Francis R. Arnold, Jr. and his wife Daphne of Broadheadsville, David J. Arnold and his wife Christine of Whitehall; brothers: Wilbert M. and his wife Margaret of Coopersburg, Millard J. and his wife Susan of Macungie; two grandchildren: Daniel D. and Andrew J.; three great-grandchildren: Britani A., Nathan and Alexandria. Predeceased by brothers: Robert, Charles, John, Harold, Norbert and a sister Hannah, Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Monday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown with Military Honors.
