Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Danny; two sisters and two brothers.
Services: A calling hour will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m.

Leroy O. Erney, 88, of Quakertown formerly of Zion Hill died June 8th in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp. He was the husband of Beatrice Lizz (Arnold) Erney. They were married 63 years last October. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Orlando and Emma (Oswald) Erney. He retired in 1982 from Conrail in Bethlehem. He enjoyed all animals and trapping as a young boy. He also enjoyed gardening and as stated by his church pastor at one time he was a gardener extraordinaire. Leroy spoke fluent Pennsylvania Dutch and enjoyed old time country and blue grass music. He attended Locust Valley Chapel in Coopersburg. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WW II.
Survivors: In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Ron and his wife Annie of Quakertown; daughter, Karen Bonstingl and her husband Tom of Coopersburg; a brother, Bill of Bethlehem; and two sisters, Betty Beahn and Edna Pavalinski both of Quakertown; three grandchildren, Tammy Hendricks, Jason Bonstingl and Jackie Bonstingl; four great-grandchildren, Meghan, Erin, and Marek and Xandra due in July. He was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.
Services: Services will be held on Monday, June 14 at 11 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Sunday evening 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Monday 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

Born in Fountain Hill on January 5, 1926, he was the son of the late Thomas John Parry and Elizabeth (Engle) Parry Steiger. He served his country honorably during WWII as a gunner's mate in the US Navy on the USS Bataan. He worked at the Bethlehem Steel Co. retiring as a foreman in Weldment Department after 38 years of service to the company.
Kenneth was a guitarist in the Lehigh Valley area playing with several groups for many years. He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Center Valley; F & A. M. Saucon Lodge, Coopersburg, where he was past worshipful master; Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown; and Rajah Temple, Reading. He was an avid golfer and bowler and had a love for home improvement projects. He was a loving father and grandfather with a passion for his family and friends.

Calling hours are 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown.
Knise was the husband of Carolyn M. (Spang) Knise. They were married four years last August.
He was a shop employee for Milliken Valve Co. Inc., Bethlehem.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Joseph M. Sr. and Helene M. (Christman) Knise of Allentown.
Knise was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Colesville.
He was a Navy veteran.
He raced with the Reading Motorcycle Club and the American Motorcycle Association.

Dorotha Harclerode, 87, of Sterling died on Thursday, June 11,1998 in Sterling. Visitation and viewing will begin on Monday, June 15 at 8 a.m. at Chaney-Walters Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:30 am. on Tuesday, June 16 at Chaney-Walters Funeral Home with the Rev. Orville Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Dorotha was born on July 3, 1910 in Portsmouth, Iowa to Orie and Louise Gallup McKeighan. She moved to the Sterling area as a young woman. On January 11, 1930, she married Harvey Charles Harclerode in Fort Morgan. She worked at Woolworth's and Coast-to-Coast for several years and cooked in several Sterling-area restaurants. She was the last surviving charter member of the First Assembly of God Church in Sterling. Dorotha is survived by three daughters, Joan Waldmann of Lafayette; Marilyn Frank and husband Carl of Merino; LouAnn Lambertson of Sterling; three sisters, Dessa Headley of Texas; Ardith Trowbridge of Jackson, Miss.; Verda Fitspatrick and husband Karl of Grand Junction; five sisters-in- law, three brothers-in-law , 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grand children and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985 and a sister. Verle Sable. Memorials can be made to the First Assembly of God Church.
