Thomas Cain, Sr, will was admitted to probate on Jan 9, 1795 in Caroline Co., MD by son, Thomas Cain, Jr.  Heirs: son, John Cain's widow; wife, Frances; son, William; son, Thomas; dtr, Els.  (Elizabeth?)  The date of the will was July 14, 1794.

A will found for Francis Cain, made Dec 26, 1763.  Heirs, sons, John, Dennes, Daniel, Francis: Daughter, Elizabeth SKINNER:  Grandsons, Francis and Daniel, Cain, sons of son Dennes.

Exec.  Son, Francis

Witnesses: Michael Lowber, Ezebell Dagnell.


DANIEL CAIN

A will found for Daniel Cain, made Dec. 27, 1747:  heirs, cousin Franssus Cain; wife Elener, Dennis Cain; son, Thomas, daughter, Ann.

Exec. Peter Lowber

I don't find when this went to probate.

This doesn't name Dennes as a son.  Also, we wonder if this son, Thomas, might be our Thomas, Sr.


MANASSES CAINE

Rachel Caine is named as widow and administratrix of Manasses Caine.   Heirs: sons, Manasses, Oen (Owen?) and James Cain.  Witnesses, Moses Freeman, Elizabeth Swells, Elizabeth Bryan.  Admitted to probate, July 26, 1760,

OWEN CAIN

A will for Owen Cain, Yeoman,  the will, called a codicil, was made Dec. 6, 1741:  Heirs, Manasses, Owen, wife, unnamed.  Executor wife.  Witnesses, Peter Lowber, John Cain and Thomas Thomas.  Rev.  Arch Vol A7, pg 78, Reg. of Wills, Liber 1, Folio, 126


TRIPHANA CAIN

A will for Triphana Cain, admitted to probate, Nov. 18, 1794.  Heirs were Margaret, wife of Thomas Wiatt; Susannah, wife of Elijah Anderson; Lydia, wife of Elijah Sapp; Hasty; Tilda; Ruben and Triphana Cain; children, Major and John Cain.  Adm. son, John Cain.

No relationship is noted for any except Major and John Cain.

    THOMAS CAIN

A will for a William Purden, admitted to probate on May 2, 1796, names Thomas Cain as administrator.  Ref: Reg. of Wills, Liber N., Folio 147


UNICEY CAIN

Unicey (Eunice?) Cain witnessed a will made Feb. 2, 1791 at Mispellon Hundred.
