Ann Livingston sent me this:

10 April 1805 Bullitt Co. KY Deed Book B p. 23 This Indenture between FREDERICK WILLIAM SPENCER GRAYSON, Clerk of the County Court of Bullitt County of the one part to MICHAEL TROUTMAN of the said County of Bullitt of  the other part. Witnesseth that the said Clerk in pursuance of an order of  the said County Court hath put and placed and by these presents doth put and  place GEORGE ACRES apprentice to the said Michael TROUTMAN to learn the art trade and mystery of a tanner the said GEORGE ACRES after the manner of and apprentice to dwell with the said MICHAEL TROUTMAN from the day of the date hereof until the tenth day of April 1815 at which time the said GEORGE ACRES if he should be living, will be twenty one years of age during all which time the said apprentice will obediently and faithfully serve his said master.

And the said MICHAEL TROUTMAN on his part doth hereby promise covenant and agree to and with the said GRAYSON and his Successors in office to teach and instruct the said apprentice or cause him to be taught and instructed in the art trade and mystery of tanner by the best way and many that he can together with reading writing and common arithmetic including the rule of three and shall well and faithfully provide for the said apprentice during the Term aforesaid good and wholesome and sufficient meat, drink apparel lodging and other necessaries fit and convenient for such an apprentice and at the experation of the said Term shall pay such apprentice the sum of three pounds ten (?) shillings and a decent new suit of Clothes. In witness whereof the parties have hereunto put their hands and Seals the day and Year first above Written.
