Ephraim's glory is like the firstling of his bullocks and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth.

Stephen's Smith Family - Ancestors, Descendants and Cousins

Notes

William Crawford

at the time of some trouble in Scotland, four brothers, Crawfords, came over from  Scotland to Ireland. They landed at Cairncastle near Larne, Co. Antrim. One settled in Cairncastle, one settled in Co. Down, one in the Buckna district of the Braid, Co. Antrim, and one, William, (Billy) as he was called, settled in Coreen near Broughshane, Co. Antrim. This Billy was our ancestor. He was a yeoman, a soldier farmer, and also a stone mason or builder. Billy worked, amongst other places at Whitehall, Broughshane, the home of the late Sir George White, hero of Ladysmith. (South Africa’s Boer War). Billy’s first wife was Ann Gardner, by whom he had nine children. Some of the children died young. Of the survivors we can account for John, Nancy, James, Elizabeth, William, and from what we have heard, Ann.
