This is a picture of the Isham G. Leabow house probably around 1950 from the looks of the car, 1949-1950 Ford. From Scott Leabow's description the house looks nothing like this today and has been stripped of much of the charm it once had. He says:
My wife and I made an attempt to buy the house a few years ago. Someone else bought it before we even knew anyone else was interested. Even then it would have been a major restoration project, but to me it would have been worth it. Someone stripped the house of the mantles on the fireplaces and basically took everything inside the house that gave the house any distinction. It was in very bad shape at the time.
