Augusta was born about 1860 in Victoria.
Augusta was the youngest of 4 children, 4 girls for
Henriette Charlotte Auguste SCHLUETER and Johann Heinrich Martien BURKERDT.

John Ingram DOUGLAS died on Saturday 20th July 1889 in Osborne St, Hackney, Adelaide.
John was buried on Monday 22nd July 1889 in West Terrace Cemetery.
John was aged 31* (30) years.
John's grave is in section P3, row 12, , , grave 27(B1).
Many years later, his first child, Mabel Cain was buried with him.
John's death was registered on Friday 26th July 1889 by JC Ashby, Undertaker, Goodwood.
John was a clerk and living in Hackney.

Augusta Bertha DOUGLAS became a widow at about 29 years of age, with possibly 5 young children.
Augusta Bertha DOUGLAS married Julius Carl HABICH
