Second Generation

Mary Ann SCANNELL ( Michael , Jeremiah )
was born on Tuesday, 29th December 1891 in Broken Hill, New South Wales. ~s02, s03
Mary was the 2nd of 9 children, 6 girls and 3 boys for Michael SCANNELL and Anne O'CONNOR.

Mary was known as "Polly" or Aunty Pol.

Polly's siblings were "Kate", "Dan", "Alex", "Joe", Anne, "Phil", "Eileen" and "Mon".

Bede Dennis KEOUGH was born on Wednesday, 27th May 1885 in Kempsey, New South Wales.

Bede was the oldest child of Timothy KEOUGH and Catherine RYAN.

His younger siblings were Amelia Catherine (b.1886 - d.1969), Leo A (b.1888) and Timothy L (b.1890 - d.1965). ~s02

Bede was posted to Broken Hill, after he finished his teacher training in Sydney, New South Wales.

Bede met Polly, when she was posted to Broken Hill, after she finished her teacher training.

1	M	William Bede KEOUGH - William was known as "Billy". William married Mavis Elizabeth BRUCE in 1954 in Burwood, New South Wales. ~s02
2	F	Mary Bethel KEOUGH
3	M	John Joseph KEOUGH John married Josephine Dympna KNEIPP. ~s02
4	M	James Anthony KEOUGH was born about 1928. - James was known as "Jimmy". James died in 1973 in Ryde, Sydney, New South Wales. ~s02

Mary Ann KEOUGH died on 27 Jul 1967 in Ryde, Sydney, New South Wales. ~s02, s06
Bede Dennis KEOUGH died in 1973 in Ryde, Sydney, New South Wales. ~s02

Mary was known as "Betty".
Mary married Leslie John BENNETT in 1953 in Burwood, New South Wales. ~s02

Mary and Leslie had the following children :
