Henry Jackson and Ruth Click's children were Lewis Anderson, Henry Jackson, Jr, James, Rachel, William Monroe, Amanda, Hepsebaugh, Dorcas and Andrew Henry Click. Rachel Click married Jeremiah Murr and left TN in 1863 enroute to Union CO, IL. Then in 1869, they moved to Texas CO, MO. This is the reason for Abraham Burriss' burial in the Murr Family Cemetery there. It is believed, but not proven, that the Burriss family left Monroe CO, TN and went first to Union CO, IL and later, for certain, went to Texas CO, MO.

Malinda Denton is a cousin to my gr-grandfather, William Reginald Click. Abraham's middle initial is "T" on his headstone, not "S". The marriage records show his initial as "S" however. He is the brother of Gideon Burriss who served along with him in CO H, 3rd TN MTD INF REGT. The widow, Malinda Denton Burriss, filed a pension claim # 487 258 under Act of 1890. In it, she gave her marriage date as 29 June 1856 in Monroe CO, TN and that they were married by Ernest Kimbrough, JP. Her claim was rejected because he served fewer than the required 90 days.

Their children were as follows:

1 Eliza Louisa Burriss b 13 Apr 1878
2 Jacob Burriss b 29 Jan 1880

So, Abraham S. Burris is related by marriage to my Click family.
