Pictured in the photo above, standing left to right, are Melvin Fox / Green, son Willie born 1902, wife Mary Jane Ratledge, daughers Alice Kirkland, Sallie Kirkland, Amanda "Mandy" Hall and oldest child Laura Jane Hall. Sisters Laura Jane and Mandy married Jehu "Jay" and Preston Hall, two brothers; sisters Alice and Sallie married Jesse and Roy Kirkland, two brothers. The second photo below provides a full-scale view of their entire home.

Many, many thanks to Cousin Marc Hall for sending this excellent photo and for scanning it twice, making the family clearer in the first and their whole home visible in the second! Marc is a great-grandson of Mel and Mary Jane through their daugher Laura Jane Hall. He is a meticulous researcher and has been a wonderful help with the family history!
