W. G. Robison*, Dies at Home of Daughter Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for William G. Robison, 52, who died Tuesday after a long illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Donnie Payne [sic - Wilson] Robison, two daughters Mrs. Buck Rutledge [sic - Ratledge] and Mrs. Tom Steward [sic - Stewart], three sons, Ralph, W. G., and Elly [sic - Ely] Robison all of Athens, his mother Mrs. Sarah Robison, and two brothers John H. Winder and Jim Robison. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Robison died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Buck Rutledge [sic - Ratledge], on the Mt. Verd Road. Funeral services were held at the North Athens Rock Church. Burial took place in the McMahan Cemetery.
Pallbearers were nephews: Allie Winder, Bud Winder, Henry Winder, Brody Winder, Wayne Winder, and Eddie Winder.
Flower girls, all of kin, including a granddaughter, were: Julia Ann Rutledge [sic - Ratledge], Isabell Malone, Frances Malone, Pansy Malone, Martha Robinson, and Margaret Robison.
