Mrs. Arzader Hampton,* died April 29, 1989

Mrs. Arzader Hampton, 92, of Route 2, Englewood, died Saturday afternoon at Woods Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

A native of Monroe County, she was a resident of McMinn County for 32 years, and a member of South Liberty Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hampton, also three sons, five brothers and three sisters. She was a daughter of the late Amos B. and Charlotta Burger Cole.

Survivors include eight daughters, Bonnie Johnson, Etta Holcomb, Cora Martin, and Lucille Torbett, all of Englewood, Maude Harris of Monroe County, Zida Johnson of Etowah, Estavee Stewart of Loudon, and Myrtle Moore of Athens; two sons, Marvin Hampton of Englewood and Bert Hampton of Michigan; brother Fred Cole of Tellico Plains; 47 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at South Liberty Baptist Church with the Revs. Hooper Crittenden and Allen Watson officiating. The body will be at the church for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at South Liberty Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight at Bordwine Funeral Home.
