Many, many thanks to dear friend and cousin Mildred Maupin for this photo of her grandmother standing on a side porch of her home in part of the Knobs known as Gay Hollow and so named for this family! In view to the rear of the her house stands the original old log cabin of Samuel and Elizabeth Gay.
