Many thanks to Cousins Ernest and Gladys Wallace for locating this cemetery and gravesites! I deeply appreciate their time, energy, and generosity! Riley is the son of William "Bill" and Dorotha "Dolly" Martha (Baker) Barnett.

Also, many thanks to Jan Vinita White who emailed the following information:

I know from my grandmother Abbie Whitedeer (by Alzena and Isaac Whitedeer) that WM. Riley Barnett was a wonderful man and a great stepdaddy to her and her siblings. My own father remembered them fondly. Alzena and Riley had no children after they married. They lived in Cleora, OK, which no longer exists. My dad said that they had a big farm with a lake. My grandmother's oldest son, Grover Cleveland Sanders was raised by Alzena and Riley. Apparently, Barnett was into hunting and fishing, and G. C. wanted to stay out in the country with them. Barnett was a real outdoors man. My grandmother, Abbie Whitedeer, named her second son William Riley Sanders in honor of Barnett. When he and Alzena married, he was a widower with children -- I believe daughters. He had an Indian card, but I can't remember if he or his deceased wife were Indian.

I would love to find more information about Uncle Riley! He was the only brother of Margaret (Barnett) Cline, my great-great-grandmother.
