In 2009, he was honored by his hometown of Graysville, TN and presented the plaque pictured below. Dennis, your military service, courage, and sacrifice for our country are truly deeply appreciated! Young men like you, my father, and countless others left our beloved Tennessee hills and gave your all to insure your descendants liberty in the "land of the free and the home of the brave."
