Gary Lee Nipper, 60, of Lexington, husband of Anna Coy Nipper, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008.

Born April 3, 1948, he was the son of the late William Floyd Nipper and Etta Mae (Newland) Nipper. He was in the security business most of his adult life. He also worked at Overbrook Farm and Gainsborough Farm. He retired as director of security at Turfland Mall, and from Dunbar Armored Car. He served at one time as a volunteer firefighter.

In addition to his wife of 40 years, he is survived by a son, Gary William Nipper; a daughter, Jennifer Ann Nipper; a special granddaughter, Savannah Faith Nipper, Owen County; a sister, Barbara (Demmy) Casta, Seaford, Del.; and two brothers, David (Pat) Nipper, Sadieville, and Keith Nipper, Versailles; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A brother, James Floyd Nipper, is deceased.

Services were conducted Friday, April 25, at Hill-N-Dale Christian Church, by Bro. Phil Roberts. Care Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.
