Mrs. Minnie Stiles, 84, of Route 2, Englewood, died Thursday morning at Woods Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.A native of Monroe County and resident of McMinn County most of her life, she was a member of Englewood First Church of God. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Casteel) Duff, and the wife of the late Frazier Stiles.
Survivors include two sons, Benjamin D. Stiles of Chattanooga, and Dewey Stiles of Englewood; four grandchildren, Eric, Russ, Dana and Jason Stiles; three sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Coker of Covington, KY, Mrs. Annie Williams and Mrs. Geneva King, both of Englewood; two brothers, Jess Duff of Etowah and John Duff of Maryville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Ward officiating. Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery in Englewood.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 this evening at the funeral home.
