Thomas Charles West Dies,
Last Rites Today

Thomas Charles West, 88, of 2403 Bird St., died Saturday in a local hospital.

He was a member of the East Chattanooga Methodist Church.

Mr. West is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jane Lewis West; a daughter Miss Pearl West, Chattanooga; two sons, Fred West, St. Louis, MO.; Robert West, Milwaukee, Wis.; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Lee, Mrs. Ida Griffith and Mrs. Kittie Reed, all of Dayton, Tenn.; a brother, Oliver West, Battle Creek, Mich.; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today at the East Chattanooga Methodist Church with the Revs. James W. Hart and Ralph W. Mohney officiating.

Interment was to be in Greenwood Cemetery.
