~ My Lemon Squares ~


This is a super easy recipe and YUMMY, too!

INGREDIENTS:

1 box Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme Cake Mix
1 large egg
1 stick melted butter (I use 1/2 fat Land 'O Lakes butter.)


DIRECTIONS:


1. Grease 13 x 9 x 2" metal or glass pan.

2. Melt 1 stick butter on low burner and then cool to room temperature.

3. Preheat oven to 325.

4. In medium-sized bowl, mix 1 egg with melted butter.

5. Add cake mix and stir with spatula; dough will be stiff.

6. Using spatula, smear mixture in pan and bake 15 - 20 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

7. Cut into squares when cool. Store by covering with Press 'n Seal or foil. If you can wait, these cookies get even better!
