1998 World Ice Art Championship competition, Second place winner, single-block competition, abstract division, by Nikolai Zaveriaev and Serguei Loguinov of Russia. NIKOLAI ZAVERIAEV specializes in stone and wood sculpting. He graduated from the Art faculty of the State Pedagogical University. Some of his pieces are in the museums of Khabarovsk and Japan. In 1992, 1995, 1996 and 1997, he participated in the World Ice Art Championships in Harbin, China. He currently is chief artist in the local administration. SERGUEI LOGUINOV graduated from the Khabarovsk State Pedagogical University . He has participated in many art festivals and exhibitions. He is the designer of the Khabarovsk emblem as well as the Regional Flag. He currently is Vice President of the Local Management of Cultural Development.
