I remember Their son Simchabn Tannenbaum was born in 1940. The family lived in what was then Manewicz in Poland today Manevichi, Ukraine (101 km N of Rovno). Sonia's parents were Jakob Henia Farfel.

I remember Looking for Mark Tannenbaum (could also be: Tanenbaum, Tenenbaum, Tittelbaum – or any other spelling variation on these names. First name could be also be Moshe or other variation.)
Born in Russia (Eastern part?) around 1929 or one or two years ealier??
Was Holocaust survivor. Left concentration camp at the age of about 17.
Countries of residence in order: Russia – (Freed 1945) - Paris (1 year ?) - Israel – Siberia? – Israel? - Upstate NY (1 year 1957(56?)) – Maine (September 1957-1958 He may have taught Hebrew at the Jewish Community Center in Lewiston-Auburn in 1957/1958) – Israel (?)
He was a Captain in the Israeli military.
His mother was still living in 1957 (possibly Israel)
May have entered the US from Israel in 1956 or 1957, probably entered in NY.

I remember Ben Tennenbaum is my grandfather. I would appreciate any contacts with the last names: Tennenbaum, Tannenbaum, Tenenbaum, or Tanen. I know very little about his family except that both his parents and his younger sister Leah were killed. His sister Miriam escaped to Argentina and then to the U.S. -- married Nathan Lew. His brother Max escaped to the U.S. -- married Ida. My grandfather joined the Palestinian army a short time before his village was invaded by the Nazis.

I remember The girl was born in 1939 at which the mother died. Right after birth the baby girl was given to a christian nanny to hide her.
