Families from Jossa, Hesse, 1653-1835
The homeland researcher Hilmar Meinolf Frebel, resident in Bonn, Germany, because of the 625 year celebration of Jossa, Hesse, has published a book with the titleFamilies from Jossa, 1653-1835*
It has about 190 pages (DIN A4 size). Contents refer to an alphabetical list of the inhabitants registered by Jossa from the above time, in Catholic churchbooks of Hosenfeld containing baptisms, death registers, and marriages. Further entries for Jossa which came out of Hainzell and Hauswurz church book entries are also included.
The unit price for this book amounted to DM 70,--, about 35 Euros. I do not know anymore where this book can be had, since the author passed away in 2004.
