Research Plan

Here is a list of things to do:

  1. update Trad Fam table with info on MDKA birthplace & residence & year family migrated
  2. write biog for each MDKA & their immediate family
  3. update or generate each tree in the Trad Fam table to incorporate comprehensive sources & references with original or transcribed data whenever possible - this may mean liaising with Bob, Margaret, and others via Google+ Hangout
  4. generate map for each family & the earliest place of residence & subsequent migrations - clarify when each family migrated & from where
  5. search Irish sources for families prior to migration
  6. search foreign sources for families post-migration
  7. generate list of all known resources available and plan for interrogating them with checklist & report & date of interrogation for each one
  8. link Trad Fam table to biogs, map, & online trees

Sources to be interrogated (by county)

  1. Limerick
  2. Cork
  3. Dublin
  4. Tipperary

Many of the above sources are detailed in John Grenham's book "Tracing your Irish Ancestors", currently in its fourth edition. The third edition is available for preview on Google books. Additional sources have been added subsequently as they have been discovered.
