Erie Railroad Biography - Charles H. Hall


From the October, 1921 issue of Erie Railroad Magazine:
A notice of the death of Charles H. Hall appeared in the Corning Leader. It stated that for more than forty years he had been an Erie engineer and was retired on reaching the age limit. Mr. Hall was 83 years of age and had been a resident of Hornell for fifty years, in which city he died, after an illness of several months. He was a Civil War veteran, serving as first sergeant with the 112th U.S. Volunteers.
